There are three easy ways to share photos and commemorative text with the Memorial Museum. We invite you to contribute via one or more method. Please access our downloads page to print out the inventory form you will need to submit along with your package. Our staff is also happy to assist you by phone, if you have questions: (877) 671-1636.

  1. Send by mail, or deliver the materials directly to us at 1 Liberty Plaza, your preferred portrait of your loved one for display in the "Memorial Wall of Faces," and three to five supporting images (optional). Supporting photos should depict him or her with family, friends, or involved in a favorite recreational activity.
    • Copies of personally printed reminiscences, newspaper articles or memorial notices are also welcome and will be kept for reference purposes.
  2. Copies of personally printed reminiscences, newspaper articles or memorial notices are also welcome and will be kept for reference purposes.
    • If you have high resolution digital images of your loved one, audio or video files, pdf's or documents, or would like to provide text directly through your personal computer, we invite you to create a Contributor Profile and submit materials directly to us through this website. To learn more, please click Create a Contributor Profile.
    • If you choose this option, we ask that you scan your portrait photograph at 600 dpi and group photographs at 300 dpi. If you have digital images that you would like to donate and are not sure what resolution they are, right click on the file and select "properties" and view the DPI information under "details." Please feel free to contact us if you have questions about how to adjust your scanner to these criteria, or what to ask for when requesting a local print and copy store to make digital copies of your pictures.
  3. Participate in the 9/11 Living Memorial Project (a partnership initiative led by the Voices of September 11th). To learn more about the Living Memorial, please click here.
